Antique Sterling Silver Chamberstick Candle Holder Palmatoria Spanish? 270g

Description

Up for bid is this rare antique chamberstick / palmatoria candle holder with tweezer snuffer stored in the handle and attached by a chain. Tested for sterling content, it weighs 270 grams.  11.75" long x 3.75" wide it is in good condition, just light scratches from normal wear and a small flat spot on the back of the handle.
Could not find the maker but it is marked with an MV or ML on the handle (see photo).  Very ornate and well made.  See photos for description.
